The Algarve, Portugal
The Algarve has fantastic beaches and is a great place for a summer holiday. It is also a wine region and has many wine tasting places to visit to and spend your day strolling through the beautiful vineyards and taste the fine wines. Be sure to spend a day at Cape St Vincent where you can walk along the cliffs and see the pounding sea below. Spend a day at The Praia da Rocha and make sure you try the fabulous fish and chips. Tavira is a great place for a long weekend, and you can enjoy some dining out at some delicious restaurants and strolling around the cobbled streets. Cyprus lies in the eastern Mediterranean and is popular for its rugged interior, spectacular beaches and wine regions.
